Chickpeas Salad with Lavash
Ingredients: • 200 g lavash • 1 cup chickpeas • 1 tbsp butter • 100 g minced meat • 4 onions • 1 green chili pepper • 4 garlic cloves • 1 cup walnut • Fresh rocca, Swiss chard and thyme • 1 cup of pomegranate • 2 tbsp olive oil • 2 tbsp lemon juice • Salt, pepper and cinnamon to taste • 1 cup yoghurt • Dill
Directions: Chop two onions finely. Fry the onion in butter and some olive oil until brown. Add the minced meat and cook well. Keep it aside and let it cool down. Add salt, pepper, cinnamon and lemon juice. Wash the fresh rocca, Swiss chard and thyme and dry them. Bake the Armenian lavash or fry them. Cut the other two onions into slices and put them in a bowl. Add slices of garlic, walnut, boiled chickpeas, green chili pepper and pomegranate. Mix altogether with olive oil, salt and pepper. To serve, first put the fresh rocca, Swiss chard and thyme in the plate, then put the lavash bread on the side. Add the salad and the meat. Serve it with yoghurt and mashed garlic.
